As a result of the Listening Tour Report of 2018, Middlesex University and Film London convened a large gathering of screen industries practitioners, organisations and representatives to meet a number of Heads of Departments & Faculties from universities around the UK, including Queens University, Edinburgh Napier, Bournemouth, Westminster and many, many others. This meeting, in December of that year, was the first of its kind, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss a shared list of agendas: industry skills gaps; graduate employability; diversity & inclusion; training provision, curriculum design and others.
The meeting was hailed a success and delegates agreed that closer cooperation and shared discussions had to continue. A ‘Meeting Outcomes’ paper was produced, in 2019, please get in touch if you would like a copy of the Outcomes’ paper.
